Donated to Mt Newman Mining Co. by AMAX an original joint venture partner to commemorate the projects first 100 million tonnes of iron ore railed between Mount Whaleback mine and the Port Hedland port.

This working of special train staff and ticket was introduced in November 1993 for the line between Gheringhap and Warrenheip on weekends only, replacing the electric staff section Gheringhap to Meredith.
