Also noticeable, the units don't have dynamic brakes fitted so there is no brake 'blister' in the middle of the hood like the WAGR L or VR C classes which are also GT26C models and the fire extinguisher cut in below the radiator.

The unit was intended to be donated to Thursday Island, but this didn't eventuate due to logistical reasons. It is now at the Rail Heritage WA museum in Bassendean. 22nd April 2000.

250-08375 viewsPelican Siding on the Hamersley Iron Tom Price line about the 208 km empty ore waggon 1171 is an example of the units built by Tomlinson Steel WA and is a control or master waggon of the pair and shows the re-sheeting paint symbol to indicate that all four sides and the floor have been replaced. Note the square bar coupling on the right hand side to the slave waggon 6085, HI run what they call 'Married Pairs'. 21st October 2000.
