150523 8234457 viewsNelson Point Yard, I Area, waggon scrapping by Sims Metal, a fork lift carries waggon no. 3340, one of 350 waggons built in Romania of which only about 60 made it into service, the rest rusting away in a caged embargo area out on the Broome Road until they were scrapped some years ago. There is a connection with these waggons and Lang Hancock and his former mine McCamey's Monster, now known as Jimblebar. 5665 looks on, its days also numbered.

Shows back of second unit locomotive 6022 and the inline fuelling waggon QQFY 4271 and diesel fuel tanktainer NTTU 30006, visible are the MU or Multiple Unit red cable going into the socket with the cream cap on the waggon and the red cap on the loco, behind that is the crimp fitting is the in-line fuel hose between waggon and the loco along with train air pipe and coupling.
