Beside it on N3 is 9416 also an AE Goodwin built ALCo M636 serial G-6046-16 from January 1973 and originally numbered 1716 on MLW Dofasco bogies but with a C630 fuel tank in place of the original M636 and larger tank. Rebuilt in 1987 at Goninan's Welshpool factory from 1969 AE Goodwin built ALCo C636 with serial number G6041-2 and road number 5466 and assigned new serial number 4839-04 / 87-073. It was delivered in Mt Newman Mining orange and was named Fortescue. It also carried the marigold and teal version of the Australia map as part of the BHP logo. In 2003 it was fully rebuilt and leased to Pilbara Rail in that livery and numbered 5052. It survives stored at 7 mile complex as at Dec 2021. 22nd April 2000.
