283-1969 viewsHarding Siding, quad Robe River CM40-8M units 9414, 9420, 9410 and 9425 lead 202 loaded ore waggons at Siding 1 (Harding). The siding has recently been renamed Harding and extended at the north end to accommodate the new West Angelas trains of up to 240 waggons. Wednesday 22nd May 2002.

246-1268 viewsCape Lambert, yard view of the then new extension to the south for the West Angelas mine was coming on stream as a Robe River loaded Deepdale train arrives on the main behind the standard quad Dash 8 power with 202 waggons, the just visible siding (rejoining) on the far left will become a compressor waggon holding road, the 6 km and Boat Beach Rd grade crossing are around the corner to the left. Closest to the camera is the extended No. 1 Road which becomes the Empty Car Line from car dumper one for the Deepdale traffic. Next is the original line or Mainline and the third line across is the Loaded Car Line for the West Angelas traffic to the new car dumper 2. 22nd May 2002.

246-3568 viewsCape Lambert, a Robe River loaded Deepdale train rolls along the mainline behind the standard quad Dash 8 power with 202 waggons which are a mix of builds from Nippon Sharyo Japan and Tomlinson Steel and Centurion Industries both WA companies. The ore is a ROM product and will be dumped over the gyratory crusher to be correctly sized. The newly extended roads can be seen either side of the train and in the distance can be seen are the railway workshops. 22nd May 2002.

On N2 is a radiator view of AE Goodwin built ALCo M636 unit 9412 serial G-6060-3 from December 1971 and originally numbered 262.003 during construction and then 1712. Behind it on N3 is the cab of 9416 also an AE Goodwin built ALCo M636 serial G-6046-16 from January 1973 and originally numbered 1716. Approximate location. 24th April 2004.

030712 14331568 viewsNelson Point, empty BHP ore waggon 9026 with drop belly floor, originally built by Comeng in Mittagong NSW as a part of seven prototype ore waggons made from low carbon 301 stainless steel with an higher volume and aerodynamic flat sides and were bogieless with four independent radial wheel sets. Of the seven waggon, the first four had a flat floor and final three had a drop belly floor. The radial wheel sets were later replaced with conventional bogies. 12th of July 2003.
