251-01413 viewsNelson Point, BHP's recently retired Goninan WA ALCo C636 to GE C36-7M rebuild unit 5510 awaits its fate. Rebuilt in 1987 at Goninan's Welshpool factory from 1969 AE Goodwin built ALCo C636 with serial number G6027-2 and road number 5458 and assigned new serial number 4839-07 / 87-075. It was delivered in Mt Newman Mining orange and was named Newman. It received Dash 8 radiators following collision damage in 1993. 22nd April 2000.
